Places of Interest

From Venaco lodge in the neighbourhood of north Kaneshie a guest has several places of interest to explore, dome within walking distances. For instance a guest could take a walk to the Ga Mantse Palace (the traditional seat of governance of the Ga people) the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex (named after the legendary Ghanaian boxer Azumah Nelson), TV Africa station, Ghanaian Times Corporation, Kaneshie market and the ever popular Kwame Nkrumah circle which has been upgraded into a magnificent interchange. There are also several restaurants, pubs, bars and supermarkets to meet the grocery needs of our guest.

Health wise, the Kaneshie polyclinic is just round the corner, pharmacy and chemical stores are available to provide the needed medications.

One of the advantages of Venaco lodge location is the ease with which a guest can easily access transportation to various places of interest either by the traditional “trotro” or “taxi.”
